나영재(Youngjae Nah, 이하 “운영자”)는 macOS 앱 Explorer for Mac(이하 “앱”)과 유료 업그레이드 Explorer Pro(이하 “Pro”)를 제공하면서 이용자의 개인정보를 「개인정보 보호법」 등 관련 법령에 따라 처리합니다.
요약 — 앱은 이용자의 파일, 폴더, 사용 기록을 수집하지 않으며 분석·추적 도구(텔레메트리)가 없습니다. 앱이 인터넷에 접속하는 경우는 업데이트 확인뿐입니다. 구매와 라이선스 발급 과정에서만 결제 대행사를 통해 최소한의 정보가 처리됩니다.
1. 앱에서 처리하는 정보
- 파일과 폴더: 앱이 보여 주고 다루는 파일·폴더 정보는 이용자의 Mac 안에서만 처리되며, 운영자에게 전송되지 않습니다.
- 설정과 기록: 탭, 즐겨찾기, 최근 경로, 보기 설정, 저장된 검색 등은 이용자의 Mac에만 저장됩니다.
- 라이선스: 가져온 라이선스 파일(이름, 이메일, 주문번호 포함)은 이용자의 Mac에 저장되며, 앱은 이를 오프라인으로 검증합니다. 검증을 위해 서버에 접속하지 않습니다.
- 업데이트 확인: 앱은 새 버전이 있는지 확인하기 위해
www.yjlab.io의 업데이트 목록을 요청합니다. 이때 일반적인 웹 요청과 마찬가지로 IP 주소와 앱 버전이 웹사이트 호스팅 업체(GitHub)에 전달될 수 있습니다. 시스템 정보는 전송하지 않으며, 설정에서 자동 업데이트 확인을 끌 수 있습니다.

라이선스 파일에는 구매 시 입력한 이름, 이메일, 주문번호가 담깁니다. 이 파일은 이용자에게 전달될 뿐 운영자의 서버에 따로 보관되지 않습니다.
3. 개인정보의 제3자 제공
운영자는 이용자의 개인정보를 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다. 다만 법령에 따라 요구되는 경우는 예외로 합니다.
4. 처리 위탁과 국외 이전
서비스 제공을 위해 다음 업체가 개인정보를 처리하며, 모두 국외(미국)에 소재합니다. 이용자는 구매·라이선스 발급·문의 시 아래 이전에 동의하게 되며, 동의하지 않을 경우 해당 서비스(Pro 구매 등)를 이용할 수 없습니다. 무료 버전 사용에는 영향이 없습니다.

5. 개인정보의 파기
보유 기간이 끝나거나 처리 목적이 달성된 개인정보는 지체 없이 파기합니다. 전자 파일은 복구할 수 없는 방법으로 삭제합니다.
6. 이용자의 권리
이용자는 언제든지 자신의 개인정보에 대한 열람, 정정, 삭제, 처리 정지를 요청할 수 있습니다. 아래 연락처로 요청하시면 지체 없이 조치하겠습니다. 다만 법령에 따라 보존해야 하는 정보(결제 기록 등)는 해당 기간 동안 삭제가 제한될 수 있습니다.
앱 안에 저장된 정보(설정, 라이선스 등)는 이용자가 직접 삭제할 수 있습니다. 라이선스는 Settings ▸ Explorer Pro ▸ Remove License로 지울 수 있습니다.
7. 안전성 확보 조치
운영자는 개인정보를 최소한으로 처리하는 것을 원칙으로 합니다. 앱은 이용자 데이터를 외부로 보내지 않고, 라이선스 발급 서버는 개인정보를 저장하지 않으며, 라이선스는 전자서명으로 위조를 방지합니다.
8. 아동의 개인정보
운영자는 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다.

나영재 (Youngjae Nah) (the “Operator”) provides the macOS app Explorer for Mac (the “App”) and its paid upgrade Explorer Pro (“Pro”), and processes personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and other applicable laws.
Summary — The App does not collect your files, folders, or usage history, and contains no analytics or tracking (telemetry). The only time the App goes online is to check for updates. Minimal information is processed only when you buy Pro and get your license, through our payment provider.
- Files and folders: Information about the files and folders the App shows and manages is processed only on your Mac and is never sent to the Operator.
- Settings and history: Tabs, Favorites, recent paths, view settings, saved searches, and similar data are stored only on your Mac.
- License: An imported license file (containing a name, email address, and order number) is stored on your Mac, and the App verifies it offline. It does not contact any server to do so.
- Update checks: To see whether a new version exists, the App requests the update feed from
www.yjlab.io. As with any web request, your IP address and the App version may reach the website host (GitHub). No system information is sent, and automatic update checks can be turned off in Settings.

The license file contains the name, email address, and order number from your purchase. It is delivered to you and is not kept separately on the Operator’s servers.
3. Sharing with third parties
The Operator does not provide your personal information to third parties, except where required by law.
4. Processors and international transfers
The following companies process personal information to provide the service. All are located outside Korea (in the United States). By purchasing, requesting a license, or contacting support, you consent to these transfers; if you do not, you cannot use those services (such as buying Pro). Using the free version is unaffected.

The website (yjlab.io) uses Google Fonts to display text, which may send your IP address to Google.
5. Deletion
Personal information is deleted without delay once its retention period ends or its purpose is fulfilled. Electronic records are deleted in a way that cannot be recovered.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal information at any time by contacting us below, and we will act without delay. Information that must be retained by law (such as payment records) may not be deleted until its retention period ends.
Information stored inside the App (settings, license, and so on) can be deleted by you directly. To remove a license, go to Settings ▸ Explorer Pro ▸ Remove License.
7. Security measures
The Operator’s principle is to process as little personal information as possible. The App does not send your data anywhere, the license server stores no personal information, and licenses are digitally signed to prevent forgery.
8. Children
The Operator does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.
